Vivek Raj Showcases AI Driven Agriculture at Modi Prix Galien India 2026
Vivek Raj, Founder and CEO of Panama Corporation, presented a strong case for the transformation of agriculture through artificial intelligence at the Modi Prix Galien India 2026 held at Taj Palace, New Delhi.
He was part of Panel 1 titled “AI in Action — Building India's Scalable Trusted Health Innovation Ecosystem”, alongside Dr Anurag Agarwal, Dr Subi Chaturvedi, Dr Kshitij Jadhav, and Umakant Soni. He also had an insightful discussion with Satish Kumar Modi, Chair of the Modi Galien Foundation India.
Vivek Raj highlighted how agriculture is moving from uncertainty to predictability through intelligence, data, and controlled environments. He noted that AI driven systems — sensors, predictive models, and automated controls — allow farms to respond in real time to plant needs, environmental shifts, and disease risks.
He also spoke about building self sustained agricultural systems integrating solar energy, biogas, and in house AI infrastructure, reducing dependence on external supply chains. He raised the limited focus of CSR initiatives on agriculture and called for enabling intelligent farming systems as a national priority.
