Although the farming company began its operations outdoors, achieving the title of being the country’s biggest outdoor ginger farming company with 400+ acres of ginger at a time and crossing a total of 1500+ acres under cultivation every year, we were soon to realise that there is much more to our approach to farming. So for two years since the team has been working to set up an organic, clean and a sustainable farming company. The agricultural system & farmers face a lot of stress due to environmental issues such as extreme weather, depleting water sources & degrading soil health, as well as systematic issues including food waste, struggling to meet the demand for food & the lack of quality produce. Growing certain foods using controlled environment agricultural techniques allows us to take pressure off of our agricultural lands so that we don’t have to industrially farm our natural environment. Hydroponics allows us to produce more, in a more sustainable way whilst having the least impact possible to the land and its resources.
